Named after former Governor Richard Snelling and based out of the University of Vermont, the Snelling Center for Government promotes Vermont's tradition of good governance by fostering responsible and ethical civic leadership, encouraging public service by private citizens, and promoting informed citizen participation in shaping the state's public policy.

Objective:

  • Create a web site that can act as the primary marketing and communications vehicle for the Snelling Center.
  • Provide the organization with the ability to collect online donations
  • Help promote the Snelling Center's Vermont Leadership Institute to potential participants.

Solution:

  • Tying in the Snelling Center's logo with an illustrated drawing of Vermont's famous capital building in Montpelier, we developed a design that is attractive, flexible and strickly non-partisan (no red or blue here!)
  • Developed a secure donation form that ties into Authorize.net so the Snelling Center can easily and securely collect donations through the web.
  • Collaborated with the Snelling Center over the years on how to best incorporate the site into their public policy work.
