The Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation

The Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation, known as GBIC, is Chittenden County's non-profit economic development corporation.  GBIC works with the many stake holders in Vermont economy to create good jobs in a clean environment through out the state of Vermont.

Objective:

• Develop the first stand alone GBIC web site.  The organization's web presence had previously been housed under a seperate site managed by an organization with which GBIC regularly partners.

Solution:

• Union Street Media created a clean site design that is easy to navigate and shows the dynamism of the Burlington area.
• USM's trained the GBIC staff on our content management system so they can easily make site updates as needed.
• As a thought leader on Vermont economic development policy, USM provided GBIC with a wordpress blog so they can communicate their message far and wide.
