Placing a premium on fun, friendship, teamwork and determination, Overland has been leading teenagers on hiking, biking and community service trips around the world since 1984.

Objective:

In the fall of 2009 Overland came back to Union Street Media for to develop their latest website. They wanted to totally rebuild the website with a focus on bigger pictures, better optimization and dynamic Administrative management that allowed seamless integration of text and Media. They also wanted the site launched before the new year to take advantage of their upcoming busy enrollment season.

Solution:

  • Designed the website to showcase Overland's fantastic imagery shot on their adventures from all over the world.
  • Rebuilt the administrative side of the website to allow trips to be searched by multiple metrics such as location, duration and age group.
  • Optimized the new website from the ground up to gain traction for non-branded terms like "Teen Bike Trips"
  • Trained the Overland staff on how to use their new admin system to keep the site fresh and up to date
  • Launched the new website in late December just in time for their 2010 enrollment season
