Nectar’s has been a fixture in downtown Burlington’s music and late-night scene since 1975, hosting countless world-famous acts in the early stages of their careers.

Objective:

To create the preeminent nightclub and live music web site in the region through a captivating design, consistently updated information, and access to live MP3 downloads. In addition to marketing the bar and restaurant, www.liveatnectars.com must promote each act that plays there with photographs, bios, and downloadable music.

Solution:

• 3-column layout provides space for the main menu bar, main content, and alternative/additional information.
• Revolving sign and chandelier along header provide key elements of consistency for branding purposes.
• Dynamically-loading calendar automatically shows the next 7 days’ events in the right column. Nectar’s updates the entire calendar and all photographs on the site.
• Nectar’s uploads MP3’s to the “Sounds” category, where site visitors can download them.
• Custom HTML email template and consulting on mailing list management helped to generate impressive site traffic and site visitor loyalty.
• Merchandise available for purchase securely through the site.
