I was Shang Hai'd into Union Street Media after eight years of running a solo strategic design practice. I help clients develop measurable plans to increase the performance of their sites. This often involves use of web traffic analysis, discussion of social media strategies and tactics and consideration of various paid advertising options. I work closely with the design/development team as well as the internet marketing team.
I am personally responsible for a 37% increase in USM coffee expenses and a 97% decrease in haircut expenses.

favorite part of my job
Looking into web traffic numbers and trends could be dry. But examining the relationships between all the charts and numbers often uncovers a narrative. What brings people in the door? What are they looking for? Do they find it? Are they satisfied? Do they come back?
Helping clients understand and participate in this online narrative is a challenge that I personally enjoy. I also really like the coffee.
