I was Shang Hai'd into Union Street Media after eight years of running a solo strategic design practice. Originally focused on managing the real estate CMS, lately I've been helping clients understand the performance of their sites through web traffic analysis. I work closely with the design/development team as well as the internet marketing team.
I am personally responsible for a 37% increase in USM coffee expenses and 97% decrease in haircut expenses.

Favorite part of my job
Looking into web traffic numbers and trends could be dry. But examining the relationships between all the charts and numbers often uncovers a narrative. What brings people in the door? What are they looking for? Do they find it? Are they satisfied? Do they come back?
Helping clients understand and participate in the online narrative is a challenge that I personally enjoy. I also really like the coffee.
So, about that rifle in your photo...
I'm currently training to compete in Biathlon. That's the sport where you cross-country ski and then, while your lungs are heaving and heart is pounding, try to hit a target with a rifle. That photograph is me at my first Summer Biathlon (running instead of skiing). I placed fourth in my age group... out of five. More training required. ;)
