Brunswick School

"The web site is simply terrific in all respects. GREAT JOB!"

Tom Philip, Brunswick School Headmaster

Objective:

Brunswick's first generation front page web site had outlived its usefulness. The school needed a complete overhaul of the site - from design and content, to programming and maintenance.

Solution:

  • Detailed navigation and site layout models were produced for Brunswick's review.
  • USM's Creative Director generated several iterations of the site in conjunction with Brunswick's new admissions book.
  • Comprehensive content worksheets were delivered to Brunswick, which compiled data for the site over several months.
  • Creation of a WYSIWYG ("What You See Is What You Get") web editor ensured that multiple members of Brunswick's development office could easily update the content in the future.
  • USM communicated regularly via phone, email and in person through out the development process, despite the 300 mile distance from Burlington, VT to Greenwich, CT.

I wanted to write and thank you for the wonderful job you and your team at Union Street Media did in developing Brunswick's website.

As you know, the site is officially in business now. Postcards were mailed to the entire Brunswick constituency last week, announcing the new site. So far, the feedback has been nothing but positive. What an enormous step for Brunswick.

I think the design speaks volumes about Brunswick and who we are as a school.... Thank you for catching us so well "on the web." I know I speak for Sunil, for Terry, and for the rest of us at Brunswick when I say that it has been a pleasure to work with you on this project. We look forward to an ongoing relationship as we continue to develop not only our web site, but also other forms of internet communications.

Thank you again for doing such a wonderfully professional job of capturing the essence of Brunswick on the web.

Thomas W. Philip, Headmaster
