Benefit Design & Strategies, LLC is an independent insurance agency that offers Vermont businesses and non-profit organizations a comprehensive selection of affordable, employer-sponsored group benefits for employees.  BDS specialties include group health insurance plans including HSA's and HRA's, group dental insurance plans, group life insurance and disability insurance, vision benefits, voluntary benefits, and flexible benefit plans. 

Benefit Design & Strategies works closely with Vermont employers to develop an affordable and comprehensive employee benefit package.  They deliver personal and responsive service that their clients have come to expect throughout the year, not just at renewal time.  Benefit Design & Strategies takes the complexity out of group employee benefits by preparing concise proposals to enable the benefits manager to make informed and timely decisions with confidence.

Objective

The main goal of the site redesign was to widen the header to accommodate modern monitors, define the sidebars and showcase information in a more engaging way.  The redesign also included the addition of a blog.

Solution

• The site expands upon existing design elements such as color scheme and logo, brightening the colors, and adding whitespace to allow visitors eyes to more easily travel around the site.
• The design was updated to incorporate a two-thirds/one-third rule with sidebar to accommodate quick links to interior pages and contact information in a more visible way.
• The Request More Info button was added as a call to action for increased lead conversion
• Navigation was updated to provide site visitors with a more efficient way to find the information they're look for. Categories on the old site were condensed and sub menus were added to provide a more natural progression of information. In addition, use of "action-based" phrasing in main navigation links helps draw site visitors further into the site.
