On-Site Optimization

This is the table of contents for the Site Optimization Series. Please note that these articles are about on-site optimization, not SEO (search engine optimization). The difference is that on-site optimization is about converting your existing site visitors into leads or customers while SEO is about getting more site visitors. Feel free to ask questions if you have any.

Part 1: Overview of On-Site Optimization

Description of the difference between SEO and on-site optimization, a quick rundown of the on-site optimization process and an outline of tools we will encounter.

Part 2: Getting Ready to Measure

Objectives and Key Performance Indicators. If you’re going to get into on-site optimization, you might as well start by knowing why you want to optimize and then determine how you’re going to track your progress.

Bonus Round: For a little more depth on KPIs check out my guest post over at MyTechOpinion.
