Blue Funk Productions
After election night of 2004, four "Despondent Democrats" created Blue Funk Productions, a company dedicated to creating fun, inventive products for those who shared in their frustration and dreams. Union Street Media was hired to create Blue Funk's brand from scratch.
Objective:
To develop a dynamic, fun brand with serious undertones, for a company that wants to sell its product and "make a difference" by donating some of their proceeds.
Result:
- Creative Director Todd Cummings created several logos from scratch, starting with pencil sketches. These logos are used on all Blue Funk products, marketing materials and collateral.
- The USM team designed the web site to communicate the message and sell product. Blue Funk's first product, the Official Countdown Calendar, sold out in its first season!
- Search Engine Specialist John McConnell coordinated an Optimization campaign to drive up traffic and sales—contributing to the great sales successes in the first year.
- Having build a name for themselves, Blue Funk Productions will unroll new products in the future.
