favorite part of my job
Having previously only worked for very large companies I am enjoying working for USM where not only do I know everyone, but get to interact with everyone on a daily basis. In addition to working with a great group of people, I find it exciting to be in a position where my efforts can have a significant and noticeable impact.
favorite Hobbies/Places
Although I never played ice hockey as a kid it is definitely my favorite hobby. I play goalie and in my usual fashion of trying to bite off more than I can chew have recently gone to not one, but TWO week-long instructional camps (Montreal ’05, Calgary ’07). No pain, no gain :) When not on the ice, I also enjoy playing classical guitar, running, weight lifting, camping, water skiing and alpine skiing.

I enjoy reading quotes and interpreting their meaning. I have a few favorite quotes that really mean the same thing. The one that embodies them all for me is “The Sun Will Always Shine Tomorrow” which can easily be interpreted as “Smile and the World Smiles Back”. Their meaning is simply – Choose Happiness.

as a kid
I grew up in a small town in Northern Vermont with lots of first cousins and spent the days fishing, building tree houses and going to our favorite swimming hole.
